Thankfully, there’s a better way. Powerboss industrial cleaning equipment saves you time and labor costs on your biggest cleaning jobs. Read on to learn how an entry-level Minuteman PowerBoss floor scrubber can revolutionize your spring cleaning.  ## Mops Don’t Actually Clean Your Floors If a deep clean is your goal, then your traditional mop and bucket won't do. You only have to see a mop in action to see how inefficient and sloppy it is to use.  Floor scrubbers, on the other hand, offer an exceptional clean in no time at all. These cleaning machines provide a constant flow of cleaning solution to powerful scrub brushes that easily remove dirt, grime, and grease from your floors. Unlike a mop and bucket, scrubbers only use freshly cycled cleaning solution with each application.. Any dirty or soiled solution is sucked into an antimicrobial collection tank, leaving dry clean floors. ## PowerBoss Saves Time and Money The traditional mop and bucket are cheaper to buy, but expensive to operate; however, depending on the project it could ultimately cost the company more when factoring in labor and products.  For instance, on average, labor accounts for 90% of the total cost of cleaning a facility. One person can clean up to 5,000 square feet per hour using a mop and bucket. So, if you have a 20,000-square-foot facility, it will take them at least 4 hours to clean. However, floor scrubbers are much more efficient. The PowerBoss Phoenix 20, for example, can consistently clean 20,000 square feet per hour. That means it could clean the facility in the example above in only 1 hour. That efficiency saves you 3 hours of labor costs. In the end, a PowerBoss floor scrubber will cost more upfront than a mop. However, what you save in labor costs will more than make up the difference in no time. ## PowerBoss Floor Scrubbers Are Where To Start PowerBoss makes a floor scrubber model for any size job. Whatever your needs, we have the machine for the job, and our experts can help you determine the best fit for your company. That said, there are 3 entry-level options that fit most facilities: the Phoenix 20, the Phoenix 26, and the Phoenix 3030. All 3 models are currently in stock throughout our Florida and Georgia locations. Each of these walk behind floor scrubber models offers a host of user-friendly features: - Easy to understand and operate controls - Low brush deck to clean beneath obstacles like shelving and racks - Off isle wand to clean where the brushes cannot reach - On-board charger for convenient charging anywhere in the building - Sleek, low-profile design for superior visibility - Aqua-Stop System that allows the scrubber to use 20% less water and cleaning solution than competing models - Ergonomic design with adjustable speed for operator comfort - Durable construction and corrosion-resistant materials - Tool-free replacement for squeegees and brushes Where these models differ is in size, cleaning speed, and number of brushes. ### 1. Phoenix 20 Floor Scrubber The Phoenix 20 is the smallest of our recommended entry-level floor scrubbers. It features a single brush able to scrub a 20-inch path with each pass. This brush design is paired with a 12-gallon solution tank and a 13-gallon recovery tank. It’s light and fast, able to clean 20,000 square feet in an hour. ### 2. Phoenix 26 Floor Scrubber The Phoenix 26 is a mid-sized entry-level model. It boasts a pair of 13-inch brushes to create a 26-inch scrub path. In addition, its larger design allows it to carry a 19-gallon solution tank and a 19.5-gallon recovery tank. With these larger dimensions, it can clean over 30,000 square feet per hour. ### 3. Phoenix 3030 Floor Scrubber The Phoenix 3030 is on the larger side of walk-behind floor scrubbers. It uses a pair of 15-inch brushes to clean a 30-inch swath with each pass. It also has the largest capacity of the three, with 30-gallon solution and recovery tanks. Working at peak efficiency, this scrubber can clean over 40,000 square feet per hour. ## Our Experts Match You With the Right Machine Every facility is unique. So there really is no one-size-fits-all cleaning machine. But one thing is clear—mops and buckets are not the answer. So if you are ready to ditch expensive, unhygienic cleaning supplies, let our Solutions Team help you find the best machine for your facility. We'll work with you to determine your needs, explain your options, and find a solution that saves you time and money.
