Technicians needed for all Florida and Georgia locations to provide lift truck solutions to customer base in a timely manner through repair, service, maintenance, and knowledge of equipment, parts and products; diagnosing, adjusting, repairing, or overhauling mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems in most makes of forklifts including sit-down rider, stand-up rider, and walk behind types.
Provides field support communication for technicians through fielding service calls from customers while making efficient use of their time and talents; documents work orders and timecards; maximizes customer satisfaction by providing timely technical service that meets and exceeds customer's expectations.
Increases revenue through the sale of parts to customers and ensures overall efficiency and productivity of the branch's Parts department by maintaining the right mix and level of parts.
Supplies parts to consignment and non-consignment customers. Controls inventory, and monitors paperwork to company standards. Meets customer parts needs while maintaining sufficient profit margins and a professional image for SST.
Providing sales support to the dealer network. Daily communication with dealer personnel and internal departments is required to ensure prompt resolution of issues. This position requires the ability to represent SST in a professional manner by demonstrating a high level of expertise and professionalism.
Provide oversight and direction of safety training efforts throughout Toyota Material Handling area of responsibility. The Forklift Operator Trainer works directly for the the Vice President of Operations to instruct, train, coach and evaluate students.
Provide support to the shop and branch with janitorial / housekeeping services, transportation of industrial equipment, and safety / inspection duties.
This role is a key position within a newly created team responsible for the delivery of process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives across multi-jurisdictions. It will play an important role in helping to foster a culture of sustainable change through the creation and embedding of LEAN methodology, and the supporting framework, to deliver business transformation.
Ability to take direction from the crew lead and learn / retain knowledge is critical to a successful installation.
Good communication and planning are critical to completing project on time. An ability to delegate work to others while staying on task is needed for this position. Responsible to assign work to others in order to keep a project on track and review job progress with the Project Manager. Communication with customers will also be required.
