First-Call Fix: The TRMH Total Care App Eliminates Forklift Service Hassles
by Jason Johnson, on Feb 27, 2026 8:03:42 AM

Remember when the pandemic hit, and every doctor’s office suddenly started offering telehealth visits?
Many thought telehealth would fade away once quarantine lifted, but it didn't. In fact, telehealth offerings grew as both providers and consumers realized these initial, virtual check-ins saved hours of lost time and hundreds of dollars per visit. Better still, in-person care improved because medical professionals already had important information before the patient even arrived.
Now you can do the same for your forklift fleet.
The TRMH Total Care Quick Response app is like telehealth, but for all your material handling equipment. It turns your smartphone into a service portal for forklift repair requests in seconds, saving you time and money on every call.
Read on to learn more about our Total Care Quick Response app and how it revolutionizes mobile forklift repair.
Point and Click Forklift Service
Every day, your organization rises to the ever-increasing demands of your customers.
Yet, meeting that challenge can be a balancing act. High standards for delivery speed and shipment accuracy require near constant uptime from your forklift fleet. You know fork truck repairs are a vital part of meeting your competitive goals and protecting your associates. However, the actual process of making those service calls is often a headache-inducing time sink.
The Total Care Quick Response app solves all that.
This app helps you get the most out of your service plan. It lets you request service and give our technicians instant access to critical information about your repair, right from your phone, in just a few seconds. The days of calling a service hotline or crafting an email request are over. You no longer have to sift through your inbox or make follow-up calls to get updates. Service requests are completed 6 times faster, and first-call-fix rates skyrocket by 60%.
You just have to point, click, and send while we take care of the rest.
"This TRMH mobile app has transformed my relationship with Southern States. It's easy to use, I know what’s going on, and I don’t have to dial the phone and wait to explain everything. Scan, Comment, Click Photo and Send!"

Fork Truck Repair in 6 Simple Steps
Easy! Intuitive! Fool-proof! You’ve heard all these claims before.
Everybody describes their app that way, and they may be all those things to the designers. However, many apps fall short of those promises from the consumer's perspective. So we don't expect you to take our word for it when we say our TRMH service app really is easy and intuitive, no matter who's clicking the buttons.
To prove it, we’ll walk you through the whole process from start to finish right now.
1. Download the App
Grab your smartphone and jump on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
Search for "TRMH service" and click Install when you find the app. The first time you open it, the app will prompt you to enter your username and password.
We'll supply both to you, as they are associated with your SST service plan.
2. Scan Your QR Code
When you’re ready to place your first service call, open the app and click “Place Service Call.”
Next, the app will ask you to scan a QR code. As part of your service agreement setup, we'll supply an identification decal for every unit covered by your SST service agreement. Each decal bears a unique, encrypted QR code. This QR code identifies the specific forklift, linking this service call to that fork truck's service history.
Scan the QR code of the forklift that needs repair.
If decal damage obscures the QR code, you can still submit your service call using the app. Instead, select the manual search tab at the top of the screen, enter any three consecutive digits from the forklift's serial number, and select the correct unit from the list.
Whichever method you use, finding the right forklift takes just a few seconds.
3. Create a New Service Call
On the following page, you’ll see two options: View and New.
If the View button is dark gray, like the New button, there is an open service call for this forklift. Click the View button to review the active service call and ensure you aren’t creating a duplicate request.
If you need to make a new request, click the New button.
4. Describe the Issue
Next, note if the forklift is still operational.
Then, enter a brief description of the issue in the text box. We provide this information to both the technician and dispatch. This allows us to prioritize service calls by urgency.
When you’re done, click next.
5. Attach a Photo
At this stage, the app will require that you take at least one picture of the issue.
This image helps the technician pre-plan and ensure they bring suitable parts and tools to the job site. You can attach a second image as well to provide additional context.
When finished, click next.
6. Review Your Request
You’ll see a summary page.
Quickly review the information to ensure accuracy, click send, and you're done. We'll automatically receive the service call, complete with unit information, service history, status, and geo-tagging. We instantaneously provide this information to the technician and send real-time updates directly to your app.
It’s as easy as that.
