"Train the Trainer" Safety Instructor Program

This program is two full days and is designed to assist supervisors, trainers and managers to become forklift safety instructors. OSHA requires operator training to be conducted by persons who have knowledge, training and experience to train and evaluate forklift operators.

Training is conducted at our facility and will include the following:

• A detailed classroom/video presentation on forklifts and pallet trucks. Full discussion of physics and features, inspecting, driving, load handling, fueling and batteries, and general safety issues
• OSHA regulations and current proposed rules
• Accident prevention and incident discussion
• Hands-on safety inspections of equipment and operator daily inspection forms
• Instruction pertaining to classroom management, record keeping and teaching skills
• ITA B56.l-2005
• Operator accountability
• Certificates of completion

Cost:

• One Trainer - $995.00
• 2nd Trainer - $495.00

Classes start at 8:00 am each day and lunch is provided.
